About WB

I have an obsession with hunting for items that people no longer want and I know I can make beautiful again. I love bringing old pieces to life. I love making furniture fabulous again.

Established in 2005, White Butterfly Furniture started in our garage from the desire to find affordable furniture in colors and styles that I liked and I knew others would like too. It morphed from home improvement projects to painting furniture and eventually selling pieces to the masses.

The name White Butterfly came about because my dear husband, Tom called all of my home projects “butterfly projects”. Every time he came home from work something in the house was different. Things seemed to “morph”. And, I love painting things white so ‘White Butterfly’ was born.

Each piece of furniture I refab has a story. I love to share the stories that go along with them. These pieces aren’t perfect. You will see imperfections. You will see some coffee cup stains, or a little glitter left over, some distressing and wearing in certain areas. It’s all a part of the story of that piece.

Have a look around the website. Let me know if you have any questions!

Angela – Thank you! I am located in Oconomowoc, WI. I’ve been trying to figure out the best possible way for shipping and sometimes it can get a little pricey, but we can work with many options. The home page opens to the current Available Pieces page, so that gives you exactly what is available at this time!

      Thanks Angela!

Love your stuff! I’ve been gazing at your pieces for a while now. Have a question about Virginia — what did you use to finish her? A wax or poly?
