A few months ago I showed you how I made a pendant light out of a vintage dairy cream milk strainer. You can see all the details here. But I wanted to show you how it looks hung.
Just to remind you a bit here’s how it started:
And here it is now! It hangs in our open stairway to the basement. I absolutely love it. It’s untraditional and unique and it is just beautiful!

I am a mom. A mom to four boys. But, I haven't always been a mom. I once taught public speaking. And I've been a PR executive, marketing director, and school counselor. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I love what I'm doing now. I'm trying to help my boys grow into fantastic young men. I am a runner and a biker. I am a wannabe photographer, a wannabe junk finder and crafter, and a wannabe professional writer. I am not fancy, I get excited when I find a good deal, but I have very expensive taste. This is our life. Family, Friends, Trips, Butterfly Projects, Laughter, Tears, Arguments...it's all here. As crazy and chaotic as it can be, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I wouldn’t know a vintage dairy cream milk strainer if I tripped over one in a barn. Therein lies the difference between you and me. Oh and if I did trip over one I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t consider turning it into a hanging light. WOW!
